Wish Dragon [Netflix]

 

 

If you guys love fantasy (First of all if you don't like fantasy, what are you?), comedy, action and just a lil bit of romance. Guys, I have a recommendation slappin right at ya! 

This movie is known as Wish Dragon and you can watch it on Netflix or the other sources you may prefer. It's really good. These kids here, they're really good friends who really love each other. What will you wish if you got a genie to make your wishes come true? Now, forget about a genie. This is a dragon. Not a lame, furious, scary one but a really cool, funny, who's also an old guy that loves parades is a dragon that gives you three wishes. Now, I am definitely not gonna tell their names but just watch this. It is really deep. 

Trust me. It's not even boring. I watched this between my class gap. I had statistics class after this movie and I was in disbelief of not having a life like them. Trust me, I do that for all of my favourite movies. 

So, here's a really short summary that may potentially have spoilers. So, there's this cute boy who just got a really kind, fun and cool bestie. They were for lifers till the girl's dad (such a pathetic dad) moved to the town to grow his empire. The besties had to be separated for a really quite long time. The boy and the girl missed each and other every single day. The girl's dad got really rich and famous. The girl was famous and was a model. There would be a billboard near the boy's house. He always talks to the billboard imagining himself as it is her. One day, that billboard does lil magic which becomes the rising point of the plot. The dragon and the boy meet each and other. They eventually become friends. 

He gives Aladdin's genie's vibe. Trust me, the characters teach us so many deep things that this society kinda lacks sometimes or most of the time. Not like most fairy tales, the boy and girl don't get married but they do have their happy ending. This story is really nice. This is a modern Aladdin but not exactly Aladdin. This boy is a really hardworking, smart and kind person. The girl is hardworking, smart, kind and most of the time misses her father's absence due to his loads of work. The girl always wanted to spend her time with the boy like how she had during her childhood.
